Artist Carol Wennesland Hart is a native of California. She was born and raised in San
Francisco and now shares her time between homes in Pleasanton and Sonoma in California and a home in New Orleans.
Carol enjoys travelling and has been to such far flung areas as Arabia and Norway and more recently visited Italy and
the Greek Isles, which has provided the inspiration for some of her current work.
Carol has two children, a son and a daugher, as well as a young granddaughter all living in California.
She has a brother living in Colorado in addition to a network of friends across the country. In addition to her family
and friends, Carol's constant companions are a Lab/Mastiff mix named Beau and a beautiful, although shy, gray cat
named Misty.
In addition to her art, which consumes most of her free time, Carol has a variety of interests including working
out, creative movement, hiking, biking and patronizing theater and dance recitals. For several years, Carol competed
as an amateur body builder and won several prizes at local and regional contests. Carol still enjoys weightlifting and
other forms of physical fitness, but is content to leave the limelight for her creative endeavors.
